*** What screen resolutions are supported by the animated desktops?
The descriptions of our wallpaper specify the supported screen resolutions. Thes may vary depending on the wallpaper. If you prefer resolutions like 1600x1200 or even higher, the wallpapers will appear small and won't fill the entire screen.
*** After installing the wallpaper and activating it from the Display Properties, it does not appear on the desktop.
You most likely don't have the Macromedia Flash® Player plug-in installed on your system.

*** When the wallpaper is not visible due to an overlaying or maximized window, does
it still use system resources?
Barely nothing. Only when the animated desktop is visible.
*** How much memory should I at least have in my system to run an animated desktop without it disturbing my workflow? What kind of CPU?
Pentium 4 with at least 256MB, but we recommend 512MB. Check out the system requirements.
